Committee for Human Research

The Committee for Human Research (CHR) reviews the use and disclosure of PHI for research. As of April 14, 2003, all human subjects research must be in compliance with the Privacy Rule.

The Research Module is targeted for research staff, coordinators, and administrators, as well as research investigators who need to know the CHR procedures. Additional advanced HIPAA training may be required depending upon your responsibilities as a research investigator, health care provider and data entry only.
